- Are you a high school or college student?
- Is a flexible schedule important to you?
- Do you need volunteer hours?
- Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience in the elections process?
If you answered yes to the questions above, then we want you to join our team!
An internship at the Indian River County Elections Office provides you with the perfect opportunity to learn the mechanics of the elections process first hand. You will find answers to common misconceptions surrounding voter fraud, vote-by-mail and provisional ballots, early voting, and voter registration. Our internship is unpaid, but you will undoubtedly leave our office with a newfound respect for the process and all of the work that goes into conducting an election. You may even decide that you want to become a poll worker!
