Check your mailbox if you requested a mail ballot for the November 2 Municipal Elections

 

Indian River County, FL – If you requested a mail ballot for the November 2 Municipal Elections, check your mailbox. A ballot should be arriving any day now. The Indian River County Supervisor of Elections mailed 11,492 ballots on Thursday, September 23 to domestic voters with a request on file for the November 2 Municipal Elections. Last week, 216 UOCAVA ballots were sent to military and overseas voters.

All registered voters in the City of Fellsmere, City of Sebastian, or City of Vero Beach are eligible to request a mail ballot. Voters who live in the county are not eligible to vote in the November 2 Municipal Elections.

Voted mail ballots must be received at the Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day. The United States Postal Service advises voters to promptly mail their voted ballots back to the Elections Office. Voted mail ballots cannot be accepted at polling locations.

Additional mail ballot requests will be fulfilled by the Elections Office as they are received. To request or track your mail ballot, visit VoteIndianRiver.com, call 772-226-4700 or email [email protected]. The deadline to request a ballot to be mailed is 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 23.
