Qualifying for Countywide and Special District Candidates

Indian River County, FL – Noon, June 13 through noon, June 17 is the qualifying week for candidates wishing to run for Countywide and Special District offices. Candidates must turn in all required documents and fees, if applicable, no later than noon, on June 17, to qualify to be placed on the ballot.

Candidates are encouraged to contact Candidate Coordinator, Anita Wheeler, at 772-226-4715 to schedule an appointment to submit qualifying documents. A list of local candidates who have filed initial paperwork to run for office can be found at VoteIndianRiver.gov by hovering over the “Campaigns” tab, clicking “Candidates”, then clicking “Financial Reports and Biography”.
